When to signal?

You should give a signal if it is potentially helpful but not misleading. Signals should be given well before changing direction to give other road users time to act.

Signals also help traffic flow so remember to apply them at roundabouts too to help other motorists.

Always remember to check that your signal is off after turning as it could become dangerously misleading.
