Driving in the rain can be dangerous, so do be careful. Remember that the wet road, wet tyres and wet brakes will increase your stopping distance; a four second gap is recommended to vehicles in front of you.

Also be cautious with puddles as they can severely affect car handling and remember it is illegal to splash pedestrians too!

Make yourself more visible by turning on your dipped beam headlights.

Always take into account road and traffic conditions as they change throughout your drive.
